Ear and hearing problems are one of the most common health issues. About 60% of problems can be detected at the primary care level. Integrating ear and hearing care into primary care is another step forward toward the Sustainable Development Goal of having health services accessible to all by 2030.
This is the main message of World Hearing Day – ear and hearing care for everyone.
A round table on the topic “Ear and hearing care for everyone” was organized by the “AI IA” Charitable Fund for Habilitation/Rehabilitation and Development of Hearing-Impaired Children and the Society of Otolaryngologists and neurosurgeons of Georgia at the “American Hospital Tbilisi” base.
