Hearing loss reasons

In children the tendency to contractual hearing is more often caused by inflammation of the mid-ear (otitis), allergic or vasocorous rhinitis, sulfur pads, and partial or complete development of the outer ear, at the mouth and middle ear Bone damage or anomalous development, barrotrums And more.

Inflammation of the middle ear affects the inner ear – violate normal blood circulation, promoting microbes and toxins. Inflammation can cause a return to sensation of sensation.

The most common causes of sensation of sensory hearing are – heredity, neuronfection, blood circulation, noise impacts, oototoxic drugs, traumatic brain injuries.

Most of the early age children with sensory hearing loss have a disease from birth and the exact reasons are unknown. In such a case, the risk factors can be considered, which could have caused a hearing loss. These risks include:

Heavy hereditary hearing (hearing disturbances in close relatives);
Skull – congenital pathology of facial skeleton;
Viral and infectious diseases caused by the mother during pregnancy (measles, cytomegalovirus, toxoplasmosis, herpes);
When new birth weight is less than 1500 grams and other conditions that require more than 48 hours of newborns in the Intensive Care Chamber.
Hyphenation (less than 36 weeks);
High level of bilirubin, hypoxia and others.
Sensonee hearing loss with children is often progressive in the first years of life.

It is probable that some children may be inferior, but no relatives have a hearing loss in the family. In such a case the gene mutations are due to the mutation. Therefore, if a child’s hearing is not known, it is recommended to conduct genetic examination. For example, the sensation of sensory hearing is caused by mutation of the gene responsible for the formation of proteins Casexin-26. This mutation leads to a progressive hearing that develops in the first years of life and leads people to the heavy loss of hearing. Both parents are the same for the mutation, but they do not have to be deaf. At the same time, the risk that they have a hearing impaired child is 50%.

More than 50 genes responsible for hearing are reported. Mutation in these genes causes damage to various types of hearing. Most of these disorders are congenital or in the early ages.

Perhaps the mutations of genes do not cause deafness, but by the influence of internal factors, the precondition for hearing loss.
